Martin Harvier

President, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community

Martin Harvier was elected President of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) in September 2018, after serving as Vice President from 2006-2014. He supports improving education for community members, health-based programs and cultural preservation. He also was appointed to the Maricopa Association of Governments Transportation Policy Committee and is the chairperson for the Salt River Fields Talking Stick Golf Enterprise, Salt River Landfill and Salt River Sand & Rock. Havier also serves on the Investment Committee, Tribal Emergency Response Commission, Gaming Negotiating Team and the 12% Committee. When not working,  he is involved with his community and family (five children and eight grandchildren) and is also an avid sports fan.
