JOB SUMMARY
The Business Analyst supports projects by gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role partners with product management, stakeholders, and development teams to drive process improvements, perform quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) testing, and provide clear documentation. Experience with project management in an agile environment and QA testing will be important factors in this role, and familiarity with telecommunications industry practices is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvements.
- Create detailed documentation, including process flows, use cases, and test plans.
- Work closely with the application development manager, scrum master, and development team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during implementation.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and workshops.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Proficiency in quality assurance (QA) testing methodologies and tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of telecommunications industry process is preferred.

- Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Skilled in analyzing workflows, performing gap analysis, and recommending process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in quality assurance and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) for end-to-end telecom processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge technical and business teams.
- Excellent skills in critical thinking, problem solving and analysis.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills using the Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook, OneNote and Teams).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
